How to Set Up IPTV on STB Emulator
STB Emulator allows you to emulate a MAG set-top box (STB) on Android devices, enabling IPTV streaming with portal-based services.
Step 1: Install STB Emulator
- Open Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for:
Emulador STB
. - Download and install the app.
Step 2: Configure STB Emulator
- Open the STB Emulator app.
- You will see a MAC Address on the screen (take note of it).
- Tap the top-right corner and go to
Settings
(4th icon from the right). - Select “Profiles”.
- Tap “Test Portal” to modify the existing profile or “Add Profile” to create a new one.
- Tap “STB Model”.
- Select “MAG 250” (or any other STB model supported by your provider).
- Tap “Portal Settings”.
- Enter the “Portal URL” (this should be provided by your IPTV service provider).
- Tap “OK” to save.
- Tap “Screen Resolution”.
- Choose “1280×720” (or a higher resolution if you have 16+ Mbps internet).
- Exit the app and restart it.
Step 3: Start Watching IPTV
- Reopen the STB Emulator app.
- You will now see your IPTV channel list.
Troubleshooting STB Emulator
If you experience issues with loading channels:
- Restart the STB Emulator app.
- Reboot your Android TV/Box.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router.
- Ensure your portal URL is correct.
